Iron Maiden е британска хеви метъл група, основана през 1975 година от бас китариста Стив Харис, пионер на New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Влиянието ѝ върху метъла беше фундаментално; от издаването на дебютния албум през 1980 година тя се превърна в една от най-стабилните и търговски успешни групи в жанра.
Death on the Road е шестият концертен запис на групата, издаден през 2005 година от издателство Parlophone. Албумът е записан на 24 ноември 2003 година в Westfalenhallen в Дортмунд по време на турнето към албума Dance of Death. Този двоен винил съдържа 16 песни, сред които класики като Hallowed Be Thy Name, Fear of the Dark, The Number of the Beast и Run to the Hills, заедно с по-нови хитове от албумите Brave New World и Dance of Death. Оригиналният микс е подготвен от Кевин Шърли, а цялостната редакция е дело на Стив Харис.
