Little Feat е американска рок група, основана през 1969 г. в Лос Анджелис. Репертоарът на групата е варирал жанрово през годините – кокетира с рокендрол, блус, ритъм енд блус, буги, кънтри, фолк, госпъл, соул, фънк и джазови елементи.
Waiting for Columbus излиза през 1978 г. на двоен винил от Warner Records. Това е първият концертен албум на групата, записан по време на седем изпълнения през август 1977 г. – първите четири концерта са се състояли в лондонския Rainbow Theatre (1–4 август), а останалите три в Lisner Auditorium към Университета Джордж Вашингтон във Вашингтон, D.C. (8–10 август). Албумът съдържа 17 песни, сред които класики като Dixie Chicken, Willin', Fat Man in the Bathtub и Sailin' Shoes.
