The Chieftains са ирландска фолк група, основана в Дъблин през 1962 година, чието звучене, изградено почти изцяло върху инструментални композиции и uilleann pipes, се превърна в синоним на традиционната ирландска музика. Компилацията Chronicles: 60 Years of The Chieftains излезе през 2021 година на 2 CD от издателство Claddagh Records и включва 40 записа, обхващащи шест десетилетия от творчеството на групата. Сред представените композиции ще открием както традиционни ирландски инструментални творби (Brian Boru's March, Drowsy Maggie, Carolan's Welcome), така и известни вокални обработки (Danny Boy, The Foggy Dew, The Long Black Veil). Албумът включва и концертни записи от Massey Hall в Торонто от 1976 година и запис от сесия на BBC от Cambridge Folk Festival от 1981 година.
