Running Wild е немска хевиметъл група от Хамбург, известна преди всичко с пиратската тематика на песните си, която започва да развива от албума Under Jolly Roger от 1987. Заедно с други немски групи е сред пионерите на пауър и спийд метъл сцената от осемдесетте години.
Компилацията Riding the Storm: The Very Best of the Noise Years 1983–1995 излиза през 2016 на 2 CD в дигипак от издателството Noise. Съдържа 32 записа от златната ера на групата – от ранни песни като Victim of States Power и Genghis Khan, през класиките Under Jolly Roger и Port Royal, до по-късни парчета като Riding the Storm, Blazon Stone и Genocide.
